Come and relax in the heart of nature at our family-run establishment, a paradise for young and old alike, where calm and conviviality reign. A campsite on a human scale, A safe, 75% pedestrian area, where you’ve been welcomed from generation to generation since 1960!
From March to November, you’ll benefit from a wide range of services andtop-quality facilities. For three generations, our motto has remained unchanged:

At the campsite near Cap Ferret, take a dip in our 28° heated pool and enjoy swimming all day long!
Far from being forgotten, your children enjoy a playful paddling pool animated by familiar characters and their water jets.
For relaxation, head to the solarium with its deckchairs and parasols. And one evening a week in July and August, the pool is lit up until 10 p.m. for night-time swimming!

Our family campsite with 30 cottages offers you a choice of 5 ranges of accommodation, from 2 to 6 people, from 1 to 3 bedrooms, including PMR (for people with reduced mobility) accommodation: comfortable cottages, an unusual cabin and a van to rent for a roadtrip on the Bay of Arcachon!
At Camping Les Écureuils, we’ve thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Our accommodation combines modernity and comfort to meet all your expectations. Two-thirds of our pitches are in pedestrian zones, guaranteeing safety and tranquillity for the whole family.

Many services await you at our campsite for your vacations!
A small snack bar offers drinks, beers, ice creams and a snack menu on site or to take away at any time of day, which you can enjoy in your accommodation or on our cosy terrace.
During the summer months (mid-June to mid-September), Les Écureuils campsite on the Bassin d’Arcachon even offers a bread and pastries drop-off service, which you can reserve the day before for the following day directly at the bar.

Les Écureuils campsite is ideally located in Arès, near Cap Ferret, the oyster-farming villages of the Arcachon Basin and the region’s must-see tourist attractions.
Take advantage of the cycle paths and harbours to explore the surrounding area on foot, by bike or by boat. In short, take a stroll and discover all the charm of the Arcachon basin!
Climb the Dune du Pilat for a 360° view of the surrounding area, and explore the longest pier in France at Andernos-les-Bains. Finally, plan a day of sightseeing or shopping in Bordeaux, with its Cité du Vin, old town and guided cruise on the Garonne. Perfect for a memorable vacation for two or the whole family!

Is it possible to arrive outside reception opening hours?
Yes, just let us know and we’ll e-mail you the late arrival procedure.
Are sheets and towels included?
No, but we do offer them for rent. Only our accommodation “LA CABANE” is a hotel room.
Is wifi free and available throughout the estate?
Yes, but only in the camping sector.
Are bicycles available for hire on the campsite?
Yes, we offer mountain bikes and children’s bikes/baby seats/carts. We also have a partnership with an external service provider for electric bikes.
Is the aquatic area open in low season?
The large indoor heated swimming pool is open from April (Easter vacations) to the end of October (All Saints’ Day vacations), and the paddling pool from mid-June to mid-September.
