Camping Les Écureuils offers easy walks and trails to discover the beauty of the countryside, between forest and dune, sea and marsh. As a little bonus, we’ve included a bike ride instead of a hike, if you feel like covering a longer distance. This 5-kilometer hike generally takes 2 hours. The starting point is allée des dunes, next to the Conservatoire du Littoral in Cap-Ferret. Next to the conservation sign, you’ll find a path on the left. Follow it to the first signpost, the A, which marks the start of your hike. Along the way, you’ll discover the flora that makes up the basin’s dunes, as well as a beautiful view of the beach and coastline. This is a very popular and easy tour for children. This 2-hour walk introduces you to the beautiful A great nature activity for the whole family!

The Trois Eaux hike from Saint-Brice to Arès

This hike is perfect for a family outing. It takes around 1 hour 30 minutes to complete and covers a distance of over 4 kilometers.

The starting point is at the entrance to the Site Naturel Sensible. There are several stages: the bathing area, the dike, the Cirès, the heart of the forest, the former tenant farm, the pointe des Quinconces, the circle of pignots, the footbridge and finally the finish. This hike is a green stroll between the towns of Arès and Andernos-les-Bains on the shores of the Arcachon Basin. The flora and fauna that make up the Saint-Brice natural site punctuate this nature trail, and its length and distance make it an unmissable stroll.
