A family campsite to serve you
Camping Les Écureuils is a small family campsite with 30 rental units, open from March to November.
Rated 3 stars, we’re set in an acre of wooded grounds, around 1 km from the Bay of Arcachon beach and 1.5 km from the town center and shops.
Our campsite on the Bassin d’Arcachon , Les Écureuils, offers 30 pitches exclusively equipped with rentals in a 5,600 m² green and natural area.
Our campsite is very small, which is why most of it is in a pedestrian zone. We have chosen to give priority to your children’s safety and your peace of mind during your vacation by offering natural rentals. You can leave your vehicle in one of the two parking lots near reception. Some rentals can be accessed with the vehicle, notably the cottage adapted for people with reduced mobility and certain premium ranges.
Our dynamic team is here to make your vacation unforgettable. Charlotte, our campsite manager, makes sure everything is perfect, while Quentin, our site manager, ensures that everything runs smoothly. Andreia, our accommodation manager, looks after your comfort, and Lahcen, our multitasking technician, is on hand to take care of all your technical needs. Marie and Eva, meanwhile, join us as the season progresses to complete this fine team and ensure that your stay on the Bassin d’Arcachon is as memorable as it is enjoyable (and we don’t doubt that for a second).

Bike rental at the campsite
Bordered by the cycle path, Les Écureuils campsite offers bike rentals for exploring the Arcachon basin.
Grilling with the barbecue
A barbecue area is available for your grills, which you can even eat on the picnic tables provided.
Equipment to rent for your stay
To make your trip easier, you can book options such as :
- Linen: single or double sheets, set of two towels, bath mat
- Baby equipment by unit: cot + mattress, baby high chair and baby bathtub
You’ll also find free WIFI throughout the campsite.
Bread depot for your summer breakfasts
From mid-June to mid-September, book and collect your crusty bread and soft pastries every morning from the campsite snack bar. There’s nothing like a gourmet breakfast on your pitch or terrace to get your vacation off to a good start!
Your pet is welcome
Pets are welcome at Les Écureuils campsite in certain accommodation ranges, provided they are kept on a leash, walked outside the campsite and not left alone on the campsite or in the accommodation.
Laundry at the campsite
Do you need to renew your laundry, dry your swimsuits and towels or smooth out a dress for the evening? Your family campsite near Cap Ferret has a laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron on loan. All you need to feel as good as at home!
Shops near the campsite
Just 1500 meters from your family campsite on the Arcachon Basin, discover the small shops in the heart of Arès. All the services and shops you need are within walking distance, and even quicker by bike: a variety of restaurants, pharmacies, banks, bakeries and the tourist office.
There’s a shopping mall 2km away, with a large number of big-name stores.
Less than 4 km away, you’ll also find other supermarkets and the beautiful pedestrian street of Andernos!

The playground for your little ones
A number of playgrounds will delight the little ones, who will feel safe and secure in this human-scale, pedestrian-friendly campsite.
Children can have fun on our multi-activity playground with slide, climbing net and wall, spring-loaded games and a locomotive-tunnel for the little ones. There’s also a ping-pong table and a trampoline.
Relaxation at the library
A library, with a relaxation area, books and board games, is available free of charge on the campsite terrace.
Play table tennis or foosball and have fun
Relax over a game of table soccer in the tranquil setting of our relaxation area! Classic but as playful as ever, our games are sure to please young and old alike. Come and play in twos, threes or fours for even more fun! Outdoors, trampolines and table tennis are available for racket sports enthusiasts.
The snack bar
At the bar, you’ll find hot and cold drinks, traditional beers from the Bay of Arcachon, and Bordeaux wine, which you can enjoy with a delicious tapas platter.
For your gourmet cravings, we’ve got ice creams to suit all tastes, crêpes, smoothies and a snack menu featuring a variety of tapas, French fries, hot dogs and more. We offer a variety of formulas. You can eat in, on the terrace, or take away.
